Technological Foundations of Marketing Capabilities of Croatian Manufacturing Firms
The study aims at identifying issues that differentiate the market performance of successful enterprises. The present standing and marketing possibilities of the Croatian manufacturing sector are examined through macroeconomic indicators and through a study of individual behavioural patterns of manufacturing enterprises. For this purpose data on specific management practices was collected in a comprehensive questionnaire run during the late spring of 1998. The analysis indicated that firms with above average investment activity, especially those aware of the importance of technological factors, were prone to achieve superior market and financial performance.
