Computer Programs Optimised for Designing Hydrostatic Bearings with Four Axis of Symmetry ba Boundary Elements Method
Computer program optimised for fast and accurate calculation of average pressure and lubricant flow in hydrostatic bearings with four axis of symmetry by using boundary elements method (BEM) are given. Programs generate linear equations system by using BEM, solution of which are boundary conditions, and calculate final results by integration of those boundary conditions. Embedded improvements are based on the application of original formula for dirtect calculation of average pressure, on the provided reduction of the member of linear equations due to the bearings symmetry and on the use of successive elimination method optimised for solving linear equations system with populated matrix. The example, analyses of accuracy and convergence of the results in dependence of number of boundary elements are also provided.
