Concept of virtual business processes supported by multi agent systems
Virtualization of business has become a paradigm of the new economy and the information society. The role of information has been risen to the level of Product. Service oriented approach (SOA) and Business process execution language (BPEL) have been used in order to describe business processes involved in creation of dematerialized goods and services. At this stage they seem inappropriate for an average e-citizen with low IT skills. In this paper we describe a new approach where knowledge contained in business processes is transformed into virtualized business processes that are available in the public information environment. The model is based on the virtual society of autonomous agents that serve as intermediators to the e-citizens - the end-users. This concept can improve efficiency of government administration, reduce delays and improve communication between government institutions and citizens in e-society.
