Some Provisions of the Statute of the International Court of Justice which Deserve Amendments
In the paper the author indicates some doubts and problems that one encounters when interpreting the Statute of the ICJ, and tries to shed some light on these issues. Firstly, he refers to art. 36, para. 2 of the Statute, listing classes of disputes, and then turns to article 38, which deals with the sources of law to be applied by the ICJ (para 1) and the jurisdiction of the ICJ to decide ex aequo et bono (para. 2).
