Teachers' professional development – qualifaying for quality self evaluation and educational practice reflection

Teacher’ s pedagogical competency is one of the crucial factors of the quality of educational process ; therefore it is necessary to invest permanently in its improvement. Important assumptions for improvement teacher’ s pedagogical competency are qualifying and readiness for self evaluation and educational practice reflection, which is necessary to implement upon previously agreed criteria. Teacher’ s pedagogical competency necessary should be understood as continuum from pedagogical incompetence to pedagogical competency which is constantly under review and change. Therefore it is necessary to insure all the conditions for reflection in action and also building and improving relationship of all participants involved in this process. In purpose of teacher’ s professional development its necessary creating quality programs which should qualify teachers for self evaluation and reflection of their own practice, and so, raise their pedagogical competence level.
