Serum Levels of Magnesium in Alcohol Addicts

The lowered levels of serum magnesium are often found in persons addicted to alcohol. The aim of this paper was to examine the serum levels of magnesium in patients who are addicted to alcohol. The alcohol addicts showed a statistically significant decrease of magnesium levels compared to healthy volunteers.
