Implementing educational constructivism in modest working conditions
Nowadays, when you talk about teaching you mainly speak in the context of modern and well-equipped school. It is easily forgotten that there are also schools with very modest working conditions. That fact especially affects Physics teaching that is based on experiments and, by that fact alone, is dependent on the school’ s level of equipment. This presentation shows that constructivistically oriented Physics teaching, as a modern method of teaching, can be appropriate even for work in modest working conditions. This is shown on the basis of eight-years results of constructivistically oriented Physics teaching in a small countryside school with very modest working conditions. Here are explained and described methods, ideas and working conditions which brought talented students to noticeable results on the state competitions with students’ experimental projects competing. Teaching effects on all the students in class are also shown.
