Differences in some anthropometric characteristics nd motor skills in boys from Great Britain and Croatia
The research was carried out on a sample of 133 boys aged 14 and 15 from the Republic of Croatia and Great Britain. The aim of the research was to establish potential differences in some anthropometric characteristics and motor skills of the boys who live in these two countries. Six anthropometric measures were taken (height, body weight, body mass index, forearm scope, lower leg scope, and waist size) and fi ve motor tests (bend forward, sit up, chin up, long jump, and polygon backwards). The results have pointed out the differences in the morphological status between Croatian and British boys. These differences can be accounted for by some exogenous and endogenous factors.
