Fatigue failure analysis and repair

The paper presents some typical fatigue damages in industry and transport. The fatigue cracks and failures in large gear wheel of cement mill, and ship structure are described and analyzed in details. The complete repair procedure is suggested and each of its steps is briefly explained. Fatigue damage analysis and undertaken damage repairs at cement mill gear wheel (6.8 m diameter) and main engine lateral support (at bulk carrier) are described, too.
