Testing of Concrete Sewer Pipes

The materials and the production modes should meet special fabrication conditions. With regard to crown pressure strength and depending on the pipe’ s diameter the load volume per the pipe’ s length unit is prescribed. The 28 day old pipe should be able to resist that load. The sensors measuring radial displacements in two orthogonal directions on the basis for the D=500 pipe and on the basis of 300 mm for the D=300 mm pipe are on the 1, 2, 3, 4 measuring places. On the 5 and 6 measuring places are the sensors on the 50 mm basis for both pipes measuring relative strains in a circular direction.
