Dvostruka dozimetrija u intervencijskoj radiologiji – pregled metoda u Europi

To have an overview about the double dosimetry practice in interventional radiology the EURADOS working group decided to collect information from several countries. For this purpose a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to 13 selected dosimetry services in the countries which have representatives in the working group. On the basis of the collected informations it can be concluded that there is no harmonisation between the European countries in aspect of double dosimetry. The double dosimetry practice of the services does not meet the same general requirements and the dose results are not comparable. This statement is valid also for estimation of effective dose, especially if double dosimetry is used. The EURADOS working group recently works out recommendations on the use of double dosimeters to achieve better harmonisation of the measured value and the algorithm for assessment of effective dose.
