Mini handball in physical education curriculum for primary school children
Mini handball is a team sport which developed as a result of derivation of all positive characteristic of handball game, but also as a result of comparative analyses of advantages and shortcomings of various team, sport and social games and using these for needs of children in primary school as well as material and nonmaterial resources. Different parameters, primarily intensities, of intellectual, emotional and physical load in a child's development, define future thresholds of tolerance on different work loads which also contain more types of stress. Because of varieties of its content's applications and its flexibility in load distribution without exclusiveness of total bio-psycho-social status, mini handball is a good media for producing required changes based on the totality of team development or group development, in absolute harmony with the individual approach principle. Mini handball is incorporated in physical education curriculum for primary school children in a rather significant way, and that is a proof of its value, which still has to be asserted in physical education due to its late implementation following schools of handball and recreation groups
