Correlation between Crystals and Production Devices for Spatially Reinforced Composite Structures
The paper gives evidence of the correlation between the shapes of crystals and the design of devices for the assembling and casting of in three and six direction reinforced composite structures by the presentation of computer and real models and the corresponding crystals. The space reinforcement structures are divided into simple types, and complex ones obtained by combination of the simpler. Isotropic (completed) and anisotropic (uncompleted) complex space-reinforced structures are obtained by a combination of the basic structures by employing the arrangement schemata of reinforcing agents and appropriate geometric parameters. The arrangement schemata of reinforcing agents are given for simple structures as well as the calculations for the geometric parameters required for production. The correlations between the cubic crystal of Pyrite with a structure reinforced in three directions (3D)and of the crystal of Garnet rhombic dodecahedron)with the shape of the device for the production of structures reinforced in six directions(6D) have been selected to illustrate the approach in simple space-reinforced structures.
