Influence of redefining the color space on the complete impression of digital portrait photograph shot with apropriate white balance
This paper deals with influence/impact of rendering of color space in editing of digitally shot portrait photography on skin color and complete impression of the portrait. Difference of Adobe RGB and sRGB color space and rendering ways were theoretically analyzed. Experimental part of the work conducted measuring and visual assessment of skin color changes that come with shooting of portraits with different light sources(with the appropriate white balance) and rendering with perceptual intentions. This results indicate that the basic editing - rendering affect the skin color of the portrait photographs, but that, nevertheless, in the phase of shooting and editing the light source mainly affects the skin color. The consequence of the use of different lighting is manifested in different results of rendering as well.
