Arts Education and Cultural Policies in Europe

One of the main purposes of the research presented in this paper is to identify whether educational policies and cultural policies do connect i the domain of arts education. It also brigs an overview of cultural policies provision for new technologies and innovative art practices. Finally, paper proposes a debate based on the fact that there is a considerable disproportion between recent European tendencies on placing strong emphasis on creative sector and importance of creative workforce as building blocks of prosperous economy and the fact that the policies concernig arts and culture are yet to be brought in from the margins of European public policies discourse.
