Production of extracellular lipase from mold, Aspergillus niger
Lipase belong to class of serine hydrolases of triglycerides to fatty acids and glycerol and has been found in various microorganisms. The mold-Aspergillus niger has been known to produce lipase. Lipases from moldsare being used to control fat hydrolysis for glyceride synthesis, lipase catalyzed interesterification of readily avaible triglycerides. The aim of our work was to elaborate the best growth conditions for production of extracellular lipase from mold Aspegillus niger. Lipase production from Aspergillus niger was substantially enhanced by consecutive optimization of culture media and growth condition.Maximum amount of lipase was produced at 30oC for 3 day's incubation.Optimum pH for lipase production was noted at 6.0. The best nitrogen and carbon sources in our work was soybean meal and sucrose.
