Bologna process and the first-year students expectations at University of Pula
The aim of the research was to compare the students’ knowledge about the Bologna process, their motivation and expectations about the study, between two generations of the first-year students, namely 2005 and 2007. The data were collected during the introductory “ Motivational-orientational practicum” for the first year students at the University of Pula. The questionnaire measuring motivation, expectations and knowledge was applied. The results obtained showed that the generation 2007 was better informed about Bologna process, having a more realistic and mature approach to their study. Results could be explained by the general trends in Croatian higher education which are actively promoting the principles and the implementation of Bologna process.
