The Chemical Deinking Flotation of Digital Offset Printing

The investigation results of the possibility of pre-processing of digital offset prints made on the principle of electrophotography, by soaking in the alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide and free-flowing/static rinsing in the process of chemical deinking flotation are presented in this work. By preprocessing of samples the efficiency of deinking is increased. 4404 particles are identified in handsheet after flotation made without preprocessing of sample. By preprocessing of sample and free-flowing rinsing the number of residual particles decreased to 303, and by statical rinsing it decreased to 113.
