Phonetic research at the Department of Phonetics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciencies at Zagreb University (Croatia)

Current research projects carried on at the Department of Phonetics (University of Zagreb) are described. 1. Free and conditioned articulatory changes of language units in common Croatian (main researcher: Ivo Škarić). 2. Speech stylistics in literature and public communication (main researcher: Branko Vuletić). 3. Speech production and perception (main researcher: Damir Horga). 4. Neurolinguistic aspects of bilingualism (main researcher: Vesna Mildner). 5. Forensic phonetics: auditory recognition and acoustic analysis of voices (main researcher: Gordana Varošanec Škarić).
