In order to explain and predict traffic behavior of transportation (telecommunication) systems, a mathematical tools that can describe timevarying traffic quantities is indispensably. As a partial contributions to the traffic flow theory (for road traffic) and teletraffic theory (for telecommunications systems) paper surveys several models for analysing traffic characteristics based on applied probbility and stohastic process background. the objective of this paper is to provide more deeply inside into generic or generalised traffic traits which can be mathematized.
