Stochastic Modelling And Simulation Of Tribological Parameters In Cold Drawing Process
The stochastic method modelling described shows that the friction coefficient and contact temperature can exactly be determined on the contact surface of tool and workpiece, which is significant for the proper tool construction, selection of optimal lubricators, less tool and energy consumption. On the basis of the measuring results obtained, the depedance of both the friction contact coefficient and tool temperature on the drawing speed, degree deformation and technological lubricant type has been analyzed.The elaborated mathematical models shows rather accurately the course of tribo-drawing process within the range examined by this research. The application of the modelling and the simulation of tribological parameters increased durability of tools 20-40%, productivity of the drawing process 15-30% an less energy consumption up to 15%.
