PRELIMINARY TESTS ON EXPERIMENTAL ISOTHERMAL NSC-ENGINE PROBA3AS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW ISOTHERMAL SOLAR ENGINE NSC-PROSUN2000

The thermal efficiency of Isothermal engines is directly related to the process temperature and the difference between its heat source and heat sink temperatures, which was for a long period the main research field of the first author. The paper presents the latest results of the above research, which has led to the invention of New Stirling engine Concept (NSC-Concept) based on NSC-Process for NSC-engines. The results of actual experiments were obtained on the experimental solar NSC-engine PROBA3AS. The accumulated experiences will later help in development of the concept, design and construction of new isothermal Solar engine NSC-PROSUN2000 (which is of the type PROFIT1, PENG = 2 kWEL).
