CHANGES IN CHILDREN'S POSTURE DEVELOPED FROM FIRST TO THIRD GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Changes in posture indicators, developed from entering first grade to third grade of elementary school, have been determined on sample of 224 children, 114 female and 110 male pupils of first grade. For body posture estimation, measured by Scoliosismeter, 14 indicators were used. The results were processed by quantitative analysis of changes in one sample, measured in two time points by SSDIF algorithm (Momirović, 1984). Received discriminative functions, pointed out the existence of major changes between fist and second, and between second and third measuring. Thirteen out of fourteen indicators reviled statistically important increase of average parameter values. The conclusion is that muscular system of a child has fallen under the influence of new and specific overloads, caused by school obligations.
