Use of ionizing radiation for the protection and conservation of cultural heritage objects in Croatia

Activities of Ruder Boskovic Institute within the IAEA Technical Cooperation Project(RER/1/006) "Nuclear Techniques for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Artefacts in the Mediterranean Region" are presented. The experiences of Radiation chemistry and dosimetry laboratory in the use of ionizing radiation for the protection and conservation of cultural heritage objects in Croatia are extensively described.
