Comparative Analysis of Relative Efficiency: The Example of Shops

Data Envelopment Analaysis (DEA) is used to compare the relative efficiency of organisational units - shops. Because of differences in potentials among shops, caused by several reasons, we needed a complete and comprehensive assessment of efficiency. DEA identified those shops that were operating relatively efficient and those, which were not. It has also indicated how much inefficient shops needed to improve in order to achive the relatively efficiency.
