Some efficiency outpouts of final machinig of cylindrical surfaces with roller burnishing tools
Fine machinig process of cilindrical surfaces exposed to the high exploitation loadings has to ensure acceptable surface quality and it is as longer funcionality. Surface geometry machined with conventional processes consists of callops. With application of roller burnishing process starts plastic deformation of machining surface and allocation of material from peaks to velleys. Surface machined eith roller burnishing process has higher herdnes and is more resistant to the corrosion. Dimen sion of the cylindrical surface is changed for hundreds of the milimeter, and 10 times smaller roughnes. Roughness of the premachined surface has to be within the range Ra=0, 8 to 3, 2
