This book is based on conference proceedings as following from an international scientific conference "Lustration and Consolidation of Democracy and the Rule of Law in CEE", held in Zagreb on May 24, 2007. With the kind support of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung's Rule of Law Program South East Europe it discusses matters of security reasons of lustration, issues of transitional justice, as well as political and social dealing with an undemocratic past in CEE.
