ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY COTTON FABRIC FINISHING BY ALCOHOL EXTRACT OF HIBISCUS FLOWERS
The paper has explored the process of cotton fabrics ecological finishing by alcohol extract of plant hibiscus flowers. The goal was one more treatment to achieve the effects, i.e. in this case processed cotton fabric shows coloring, antimicrobial activity, and UV protection, which may mean contribution to the development and production of multifunctional clothes. Applied plant extract has a good basis for the commercial processing of cotton material for application in the field of clothing. According to the results, the ecological finishing process these types of textile shows excellent results in terms of antimicrobial properties in relation to one gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and one fungus, and various hues of color seen through reflection spectrophotometer and excellent UV protection. With the ecological point of view is a suitable replacement chemical color "natural products", which can represent not only a strategy to reduce risk and pollutants, but also the opportunity for new markets and new jobs that can be developed in the market including the environmental policy.
