Morphological variability of phylloclades and fruits of Ruscus hypoglossum L. in Croatia
Research of morphological traits of Ruscus hypoglossum interesting from ornamental point of view was done in eleven natural populations. The most interesting populations for further selection were Japlenica with the largest number of phylloclades per stem (17.87), the biggest (length = 11.03 cm, width = 5.54 cm) and the most orbicular (length/width = 2.01) phylloclades, Kalnik with the narrowest phylloclades (length/width = 2.74), and Bilogora with the biggest fruits (length = 12.30 mm, width = 11.56 mm, weight = 0.75 g). The most orbicular fruits were in Strahinščica population (length/width = 1.04) and the narrowest in Oriovac population (length/width = 1.34)
