Wrinkling and Euler buckling
The main reason of the study of thin-walled structures behavior is considerably interest of their technical applications, particularly in the shipbuilding industry, air industry etc. An optimal procedure design of structures such as in mentioned industry, usually are based on the finite element method using high speed computers. This paper is focused on the two phenomena such as wrinkling and Euler buckling of the thin-walled columns. These phenomena are of great importance in stability analysis. Stability analysis is based on numerical procedure. The comparison between numerically obtained results and experimentally results is presented.
