ERGONOMIC DESIGN OF ONLINE TESTS IN MOODLE
Implementation of new technologies and concepts into the teaching process has become one of the key guidelines of the higher education system development strategy. This has largely influenced the creation of “hybrid teaching processes” – an upgrade of the existing teaching methods with the new methods. One such method is e-learning, which enables online management of the teaching material through a web site. Grading of students within the system is possible by using various modules (tools, activities). An electronic test or online test is one example. The functionality of online tests has demonstrated its advantages and disadvantages, which differ depending on the type of e-learning. It is therefore important to use the process of ergonomic modeling of online tests and try to achieve direct impact on higher efficiency of the tests themselves. This paper presents the results of a students’ survey on implementation of online tests in the Moodle Learning Management System. They were used to indicate certain advantages and disadvantages of online tests and give suggestions and guidelines on their ergonomic modeling.
