Numerical optimization of structures in plane strain conditions based on the prediction of viscoplastic material behaviour

This paper is directed toward basic optimizing concept in engineering design. It is based on the rate-dependent material behaviour which is subjected to plane strain conditions and to the special environment conditions. A general optimization concept as well as general viscoplastic algorithm of material behaviour are presented. Finite ele-ment technique is used and for justification of proposed model an example is shown.
