Managing Performance in Western Balkans Civil Service Structures – A 2009 HRM CoP Research
Performance management as continuous process of evaluating and directing administrative behaviour toward better work results, as well as performance management system and purposes are discussed. The paper deals with elements of the appraisal process and mistakes, but also improvements of the performance management. The author has submitted preliminary results of the research that had been made in Belgrade, Skopje, Priština, Tirana, Podgorica, Sarajevo and Zagreb which show there is a space for improving performance management practices.
