Thermoelectric Onsager coefficients of (TaSe4)2I in the depinned charge-density-wave state
We have studied the electric field dependence of four thermoelectric Onsager coefficients of (TaSe4)2I. We found that all the coefficients, except the one related to the thermal conductivity, are strongly field dependent above the same threshold electrical field. Onsager relation, i.e. equality of two off-diagonal coefficients does not hold above the threshold field. The field dependence of the off-diagonal coefficients is interpreted by the coupling between the charge density waves and the single electron excitations, while the heat transport of the sliding charge density waves is neglected.
