Relativistic Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov Theory with Density Dependent Meson Couplings in Axial Symmetry

Most nuclei on the nuclear chart are deformed, and the development of the new RIB facilities allows for the study of exotic nuclei near the drip lines where a successful theoretical description requires both realistic pairing and deformation approaches. Relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov model taking into account axial deformation and pairing correlations is introduced. Preliminary illustrative results with density dependent meson-nucleon couplings in axial symmetry will be discussed.
