The Structure of the Pedunculate Oak Population, Ecological Management Forest Type II-G-20
For over 30 years, the structure of the population of pedunculate oak stands has been studied for the purposes of forest typology. Over 170 sample plots have been placed in the ecological management forest type II-G-20 stand, where the phytocenosis Genisto elatae-Quercus roboris is most prevalent. The sample plots are square and are of varying dimensions depending on the age of the stand. On each sample plot, data regarding the number of trees, the diameter height, the trees height, the trunk height, the crowns lengrh, the hotrizontal projections of the crown, the increment, the estimation and amount of sortments, the soil type and phytocenosis was gathered. All data is recorded in the EGTRH database and is then processed. The correlation between certain structural elements, as well as certain regression was monitored. The correlation is then shown in the form of tables and graphs and is analysed both one dimensionally and multi-dimensionally.
