Spontaneous spinal epidural haematoma : case report
Spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma is one of the most infrequent forms of hemorrhage within the craniospinal cavity. A 64-year-old man with a history of hypertension and chronic stress caused by war, suddenly experienced bilateral severe subscapular pain followed by bilateral leg and left arm weakness. Magnetic resonance imaging showed an extradural mass in the dorsal aspect of the C6-Th2 segment of the spinal cord. A conservative approach was chosen, and the patient recovered completely.
