Specifični testovi u dijagnostici kondicijske pripremljenosti u oružanim snagama
To be qualified for his or her basic duty a soldier must have the necessary military knowledge and skills, be willing to perform his or her duty, and be able to fulfill the given task. Conditioning readiness is responsible for this third part, i.e. a soldier must physically be able to perform a task. To determine this third part we use conditioning readiness evaluation. Elementary testing gives information on basic anthropologic characteristics of the tested person. Each specific activity requires specific capabilities ; therefore it is necessary to conduct specific tests. The aim of this article is to point out the importance of conducting specific tests in evaluating conditioning readiness in Armed Forces. As regards that conditioning readiness is important for the military capabilities, it is necessary that all members of the Armed Forces meet the basic locomotion and functional ability. Tests must be prescribed for the Armed Forces as a whole and for each of the services, branches and specialities. This article gives an overview of existing tests for evaluation of locomotion readiness in Armed Forces. It also shows the hypothetical equation for specification of conditioning readiness of Army members and the hypothetical equation for specification of conditioning readiness of Military Police members - VIP escort Platoon. It includes an example of specific tests that can be used for specific evaluation of conditioning readiness.
