Aging effect on post-crack behaviour of SFRC
A strength of concrete increases with its age. The higher the strength of the concrete, the more brittle is its response. From the stress-strain curve of concrete with different strengths, it can be seen that the higher the compressive strength, the steeper is the slope of the descending part of the curve. However, effeciency of fibres in the FRC is increased too with the age, because of bond between fibres and hardened cement paste has improved. The results of our investigations are shown that toughness of SFRC decreases up to age of 28 days, and after that time it increases moderate. Toughness is measured and calculated according to the standard test methods of ASTM C 1018 and JCI-SF4.
