International economics
International Economics was written to help students understand modern globalization processes and participate in the world of economics and international business. Typical areas of international economics (such as international trade and international finances) have been dealt with, as have new areas which will be of significance in the future (such as e-commerce, the environment and trade, collaborative advantage, multilateral and regional liberalization and integration, international financial crisis, globalization and global institutions). The focus is placed on global perspective and economic growth but the historical approach to the economic process and the theoretical explanation of international trade and finances has not been ignored. This allows students to understand modern processes from a historically retrospective standpoint. By using a systemic overview of different concepts of international economics, the emphasis is placed on how important and complementary each is in the overall explanation of modern globalization processes.
