Ocjena anomalija višemjesečnih količina oborine

Due great importance of precipitation for the living world it is measured in the dense network. Measured values are carefully analysed to identify regions with considerable departure of measured values from long term means. One of shortcomings of present methods of monitoring anomalies of rainfall that they are restricted to the periods defined by month. In most cases measured rainfall is compared only with the average values. From such comparison it is not possible to obtain impression weather the considered value are common for that region or it is exceptionally rear event. The paper outlines recent state in the monitoring of rainfall in the Croatia and in the world. This paper describes the method which make possible evaluation of severity of anomalies for any time interval longer than month on the basis of few basic climatological data.
