Computer Aided Design of TS 35/10(20)kV Substation Grounding System

Computer Aided Design software CymGRD has been used for 35/10(20) kV substation grounding system parameter computation. The software is engineering tool often used for soil resistivity measurement interpretations, ground potential rise and danger point evaluation within any area of interest. Surface and touch voltage potential gradients are calculated at all crucial points of substation grounding system. Three dimensional equipotential contours for a surface and touch potentials with potential profiles showing touch and step voltages along the chosen direction after injection of short-circuit current in grounding system are presented.
