A dissipation model for cyclic non-associative thermoplasticity at finite strains
The paper presents a model of thermoplasticity suitable for finite strains. The model is based on the hyperelastic formulation involving multiplicative decomposition of the deformation gradient into three parts. The emphasis is given to the modeling of dissipation in the context of nonlinear kinematic hardening in the non-associative plasticity. Kinematic hardening is described through introduction of an additional configuration, the so-called center configuration. Thermodynamic framework is carefully presented, with all particulars about kinematics, balance equations and constitutive equations. Shortcomings of a widely used dissipation model are analyzed and alternative form is proposed. The presented model is verified on one example. At the end, some conclusions are given.
