Intergrowth of hyalophane and quartz from Busovača, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Intergrowths of hyalophane and quartz was observed in hand specimens from an alpine vein paragenesis from Busovača, Bosnia and Hercegovina. The observed intergrowth is very similar to intergrowths between orthoclase and quartz. It is unlikely that the Busovača intergrowth is the result of unmixing ; rather, it can be explained as formed by multiple crystal growth interrzpted by tectonic movements.
