Typification of Statice cancellata Bernh. ex Bertol. (Plumbaginaceae)

A lectotype is designated for the hitherto untypified name Statice cancellata described by Bertoloni from the North Adriatic coast, and is supplemented by an epitype with the aim to support the current usage of the name. A detailed description and additional illustrations for the species Limonium cancellatum (Bernh. ex Bertol.) Kuntze are presented.
