Temperature and thermoelastic stress-strain fields in half-space due to point source of heat

A general mathematical model of the considered phenomena is developed in the present work. In absence of phase transitions, the temperature field is described by enough simple analytical representation. The stress-strain state in this case can be described analytically too. If there are phase transitions, the problem must be calculated numerically. Boundary element method is used for this aim in the present work. Corresponding calculation are continued till limit of proportionality of the metal.
