Improved mathematical models of phase transition in multicomponent media under microgravity conditions
As a result, thermodiffusion and coupled diffusion effects must be taken into accent, since their general influences can be comparable with general influence of convection effects. Thus generalized Onsager’s equation system is used as a mathematical model of the process. Special transformation, proposed by the authors, gives an opportunity to eliminate small parameters from formulation. Several examples of the considered process are calculated by finite difference method.
