Composite Railway sleepers
Railway traffic needs, as so other types of traffic do, constant improvement, optimisation and introduction of new technologies. Composite sleepers, as a new type of sleepers which are made of heavily demolishable waste (rubber, plastic), are one kind of new technology that wolud help to growth of speed of manufacture and incorporating sleepers into railway network, and beside that, they would also show a new way of recycling and reusing of waste materials. Railway traffic with usage of composite sleepers would be fast, safe, without hard noise and vibrations, and building sleepers into railway net would be simple. Composite sleepers have long lifespan, thus their usage would reduce expenses of railway net maintenance, and also a problem of chopping large amount of trees would be solved which is in keeping line with sustainable development.
