The effect of vertical resolution in a limited area atmospheric model
The influence of three factors related to vertical resolution on the 24-hour forecast of surface pressure and 500 mb height have been examined. The factors are the number of vertical layers, the arrangement of the layers in the vertical and the model upper boundary.
