Cikloadicijske reakcije potpomognute mikrovalnim zračenjem u sintezi polinorbornana
Organic synthesis by microwave heating (MW) was recognized as a very efficient tool for variety of reactions, in terms of reaction times and yields[1]. In MW reaction conditions products which could not be prepared by classical heating or sometimes different products and isomeric ratio could be formed. The use of MW heating is advantageous being environmentally friendly process, in regard of lower energy consumption, use of less toxic solvents or in smaller amounts. In this presentation, the results of selected cycloaddition reactions assisted by MW irradiation towards polynorbornanes will be presented. In particular, tandem [4+2]/[3+2] cycloadditions of 1, 3, 4-oxadiazoles with alkenes [2], [3], ruthenium catalyzed [2pi+2pi] cycloadditions of dimethylacetylene dicarboxylate with norbornenes (reaction A) [4], 1, 3-dipolar cycloadditions of bisepoxide with alkenes, 1, 3-dipolar cycloadditions of diazofluorene with alkenes, and bishomo[2+2+2] cycloadditions of quadricyclane with alkenes (reaction B) will be described. The influence of reaction conditions, temperature, reaction times, molarity of reagents, solvents, and microwave power, will be discussed.
